Picnic in the park 3

Saturday 26 July

The weather looks like it is going to be kind again with a good forecast for our final Picnic in the Park Concert for this year.

This time it is the turn of the Training Band who are amazing and provide just as much entertainment as our other two bands. Thanks to David Johnson for stepping in as conductor in Mike Dunning's absence

As well as this concert providing the usual opportunity to have a relaxing afternoon enjoying listening to the music, it also provides an opportunity for anyone who might be interested in learning to play brass or percussion to come along and see what the band is all about.

Summer Concert 2015 at Verwood Hub

Saturday July 18th

Once again fabulous performances from all of the bands, starting off with the Training Band, followed by the main band in the first half with brilliant solos from Ian Harris (Euph) and Naomi Hewin (Flugel).

Second half of the concert started with the Town Band and again brilliant solos from Ellie Mullins (Flugel) and Jason Hayter (Cornet). The concert was then closed by the main band which included a great Xylophone solo from Joe Kemp.

Sunday 5th July

What a wonderful Sunday afternoon event.

Loads of people turned up to spend a delightful couple of hours relaxing in the sunshine and listening to the varied selection of music played superbly by the principal band of Verwood Concert Brass.

 

One more Picnic in the Park event to go . . . the fabulous VCB Training Band on Sat 25th July.
